rrres is a Latin American design studio based in Oaxaca, Mexico, founded by Javier Reyes (Barcelona → Oaxaca) and Melissa. The studio works in direct collaboration with Zapotec master weavers — Esmirna Martínez, Oswaldo López, Manuel Méndez, Lucrecia Martínez and many others — on pedal looms in the Tlacolula valley. Every rug, throw, palm sculpture, lamp and ceramic vessel is made from locally sourced wool, hand-dyed, and woven slowly. The studio is a bridge between Zapotec tradition and contemporary design — and the first signature of Signatures du Monde.
