Hitomi Hosono (b. 1978, Gifu) is a London-based ceramic artist trained at Kanazawa College of Art and the Royal College of Art. Her hand-carved porcelain vessels — chalk-like finish, gold embellishments, hundreds of individually pressed botanical leaves — are held by the British Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum, and she was the inaugural winner of the Perrier-Jouët Arts Salon Prize.
